SDG Network Scotland is an open coalition in Scotland. We're here for anyone committed to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Scotland, which was one of the first nations to sign up to the Goals. We're an unfunded coalition that is built on an active membership of over 500 people and organisations including charities, universities, schools, public sector bodies, and businesses.
Our vision is for Scotland to be a world leader in championing and delivering the SDGs.
Our mission is to create an enabling environment in Scotland, where the Goals are championed and delivered by all.
Our membership is completely open. All you need to do is share our vision and mission!
The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) set up the network in 2017. There was a clear demand to increase working together and partnership across Scotland and beyond to progress the SDGs. SCVO worked with a range of partners to establish the group to build awareness and engagement across civil society, business and government. Where possible, we have aimed to support the implementation of the SDGs in Scotland and ensure voices of those committed to sustainability are heard by key decision-makers.
