Interested in building your capacity to facilitate conversations about how to implement the 17 SDGs at the local and regional level? Join training from Gaia Education in Edinburgh on September 26th 2017 – it’s free!
We would like to invite you to join the SDGs Training for Multipliers, presented by Gaia Education, SCVO and UNESCO GAP on the 26 September, in Edinburgh.
The purpose of the training is to engage participants in the vitally important conversation about how to accelerate the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the local and regional scale in ways that are carefully adapted to the bio-cultural uniqueness of each locality.
The highly interactive workshop is based on a set of ‘SDGs Flashcards’ developed by Gaia Education and UNESCO GAP containing more than 200 questions structured into the four dimensions of Gaia Education’s whole systems approach to sustainability (social, ecological, economic and worldview). Participants will explore each of the 17 SDGs in question-focused small group conversations aimed at collaboratively identifying actions and strategies that will support the acceleration of their implementation.
The training will take place from 9:00 am and 1:00pm on the 26 September at SCVO Headquarters Floor 3, Hayweight House, 23 Lauriston St, Edinburgh EH3, a 18-minute walk away from Edinburgh Waverley Station.
Tickets to this event are free but places are limited. Find out more and register here!
