Join our first network meeting after the summer on 17th September 2018 (2pm – 4:30pm) to reflect on SDG developments in Scotland and to work with Year of Young People ambassadors to shape our engagement and promotional work. A draft agenda can be found on the Network’s forum and you can register to attend the session here.
In this session, we’ll reflect upon developments in Scotland and consider where the SDG Network should focus its efforts and engagement in the months ahead. We will also be joined by Year of Young People ambassadors who will share the work that they have been taking forward on the SDGs and contribute to the discussions around including young people in the SDG Network’s work. Accompanying this will be a progress update to bring members up to speed on our engagement with Scottish Government, the 2019 UK Voluntary National Review process and building on the UKSSD ‘Measuring Up’ report in Scotland.
In the first part of 2018, our network played a key role in raising the profile of the SDGs across Scottish Parliament Committees and Government ahead of the debate on Scotland’s refreshed National Performance Framework. We are keen to continue our engagement with the Scottish Government, whilst also helping to facilitate and grow an active community of SDG champions in Scotland. Visit www.globalgoals.scot for more information on the SDGs in Scotland.
